Flying G Ranch is a family run business that started in Palmer Alaska in 1995. With Cindy Gallagher as Owner, she thought it only fitting to have her daughter Danielle in to assist as ranch manager. Together they have cut trails, worked horses, built fence, hauled long haul, cut and baled hay, guided tours, and wagon rides. They each have their own unique attribute they bring to the ranch.
Owner Cindy has set solid footsteps for her daughter and grandkids to follow. She is not only a credited farrier, she trains horses, works fences, hand clears trails, and guides rides. Cindy has been known in Alaska for being one of the "Best Team Drivers around" (Ron Mistler), She has driven singles, doubles, all the way to 6 up hook-ups showing her skills at the Alaska State Fair with Jon Naumen's percheron teams. You'll never know it by talking to her though, modest is an understatement when talking to Cindy!
Danielle has worn many hats at the ranch, cutting trails, training horses, teaching riding lessons, long haul horse transport, team driving, and many other chores....too many to list. She has been helping horses free up with equine balance therapy since 2014, something her horse Casino is completely spoiled with. Along with running the ranch with her Mother, she also has a driven passion for team roping. She and her horse Casino travel to as many roping's and rodeo's as they can, she is primarily a team roper... but has been known to barrel race when challenged by her mom, or oldest daughter. Danielle has won many titles around Arizona in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2014, 2017 for Champion Header. She has claimed many Alaskan titles from 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 for Team Roping Champion, Break Away Champion, Ribbon Roping Champion, and has consecutively earned the title of All Around Cowgirl Champion. She pays all her credits to her loyal horse Casino, coach Todd, and her supportive family.
